Global Connect’s Process
Global Connect understands that students learn best when they are engaged with peers and doing authentic work. Global Connect’s unique programs match US and International middle school students, so they develop meaningful relationships as they deeply learn about each other’s cultures. Students use technology to connect synchronously and asynchronously throughout the Expedition and Field Trip programs.
Students learn from students! We believe in the power of young people to ask and answer their own questions, examine preconceived notions and ideas, and use their innate empathy and curiosity to develop shared understandings with people across the world. We connect students in the US and China and guide them through a series of lessons and exercises designed to let them take charge, learn from each other, and teach us all how to be better global citizens.

Spring 2022 Expedition and Field Trip Dates
Expeditions begin March 14, 2022 and last for 10 weeks with scheduling flexibility.
Field Trip dates available beginning March 28, 2022.
